Breakfast with the Birds (Feb 2021 – Date TBC) in QLD, NSW and VIC to celebrate World Wetlands Day.
In February 2020, the Victorian Chapter held a Breakfast with the birds at Reedy swamp, on the outskirts of Shepparton, in collaboration with the Goulburn Broken CMA and Birdlife Australia. To welcome in the 2021 year, the QLD, NSW and VIC chapter leads will be planning to host a breakfast to kick off 2021, with hopefully an on site face to face opportunity to reinvigorate and engage with our member base. 10ASM Conference – Submit an abstract!
We are excited to invite you to the rescheduled 10ASM in Kingscliff, NSW in August 2021! With travel and meeting restrictions continuing to ease all across Australia, we are thrilled to be planning 10ASM in picturesque Kingscliff in New South Wales.
Attending 10ASM is the perfect opportunity to explore regional New South Wales. A coastal town just south of Tweed Heads in the Northern Rivers region of New South Wales, Australia. Kingscliff is the traditional lands of the Ngandowal and Minyungbal people of the Bundjalung Nation, in particular the Goodjinburra, Tulgi-gin and Moorung-moobah clans. The 10ASM Organising Committee are looking forward to welcoming all delegates in 2021 to such a beautiful part of the country and spending some time outdoors together.

To mark the 10th edition, the 10ASM program has been redesigned to create an even more immersive and accessible experience through both online and in-person experiences, interactions & content delivery. The in-person program is designed to enable delegates to dive deeper into conversation and explore the cross connections between our people and projects, including;
- Q&A panels with Proceedings contributors
- Forums to raise challenges and opportunities
- Online proceedings
- Workshops to form new connections and collaborations
- Field trips to explore stream management practice and outcomes first hand
- Keynote speakers to inspire new conversations and of course the opportunity to socialise and network in great company and hospitality!
